Hi, I’m Sean - the founder of Metta Cards Ltd.

My love for Trading Cards began back in school during the Pokemon Gen 1 Era. I vividly remember bringing my cards into class, comparing collections with friends, and carefully slotting favourites into those old-school binders. It was the start of something that has stayed with me ever since - a lifelong appreciation for the hobby and everything that comes with it.

Now years later, I’m lucky enough to share that same excitement with my own children - comparing cards, admiring the artwork, and always hoping to pull that chase card! It’s that sense of joy and connection that inspired me to launch Metta Cards.

Metta Cards was created by a collector, for collectors.

The name Metta actually comes from a nickname that we had for our eldest daughter when she was little, ‘Esmetta’. We first launched an eBay store called 'Pokemetta' based on this name, which soon evolved into Metta Cards as the business began to grow!
